Young Dreams’ sophomore album Waves 2 U is out now – and to keep tension rising even further they’ve just dropped ‘Wildwind’. It’s the third single we’ve heard from this project, which is now out via tastemaker label Blanca Records. Formed in the dingy corners of a former pub in Bergen called Vamoose, Young Dreams consists of frontman Matias Tellez and a host of his Norwegian contemporaries. This second album has been a long time in the works – Tellez had to take some time out with a bad bout of meningitis but an arts grant from the Norwegian government helped turn things around. ‘Wildwind’ is a celebration of all things electro, featuring a host of quirky keyboard licks over dreamy lyrics. Speaking about the album Tellez says: "These songs are more about having arrived where you wanted to be, and discovering it was not what you thought it would be." -HM
